Hi! It's me Helge!
Let me introduce myself. If you wondered why I'm making blogs about my experiences, the ups and downs of an implementers life and why I never really wanted to become a blogger, read my blog!

I've been around this product a while. Almost from the beginning. From the Damgaard brothers Axapta 1.0 to the product, it is today - Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Supply Chain Management.
I started way back when, in the last century - last millennium if you're into details. I've been working as a solution architect and developer, in various consultant companies, doing all sorts of stuff. Right now, I'm working at Heimstaden, a residential real estate owner and industrial partner, and - you guessed it - implementing the biggest Finance and Operations solution I've ever worked with. The aim is to bring the entire group, around 1 600 companies, into one and the same solution. At the moment, we are a quarter on the way. Some facts about Heimstaden.
- 9 Markets
- 162 346 Homes
- 322 billion Investment Properties (SEK)
Most of the last 25 years have been very giving and a lot of small and big issues have been solved, not all of them well documented. Tools have come and gone, documents have been made invalid or obsolete by newer tools and functionalities, but most of the tips and tricks are just as relevant today as they were. This blog is an attempt, however weak, to gather this well of undocumented information and make a free encyclopedia - or Axtopia as I've called it. Hope some of it at least can be useful. Happy reading.
