Send files to bank (Host-2-host)
When a payment proposal has been approved, the system will create files for all the companies and complete the proposal. A batch job will normally handle the transfer of files between Finance and Operations and the different banks, but this short article describes how to do it manually.
Verify that files exists
To verify that files that are ready to send, you can open a second tab in your browser, and navigate to the File storage.
Integration suite | Inquiries | File storage
Here you can filter on your Company group, Transfer status (Validated), Direction (Send), File type (PAIN001).
Send files
Open the Endpoints and search for your endpoint.
Integration suite | Setup | Endpoints
This will typically be a endpoint with the
- Endpoint type = "File transfer (FTP/sFTP)"
- Direction = "Send"
- Endpoint name = your bank name and country code and file type. I.e "Barclays GB pain001"
In the Ribbon, find the function:
Functions | File transfer (FTP/sFTP) | Send files button
Click this to send files. After the process is completed, all files in the File storage that have been sent will be updated. This can also be set up as a batch job from the Integration suite menu.
Integration suite | Periodic tasks | File exchange | Send/Receive files (sFTP/File share)
There are more particular jobs for each type (Azure file share and FTP/sFTP) and direction as well.
